Licensing and Accreditation

The Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) granted the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), located in Abu Dhabi, an official license on March 10, 2020, to grant degrees and credentials in higher education for the following programs:

Documentation for the MBZUAI Licensure Renewal has begun and will be completed before the expiration date of February 4, 2025. All ML, NLP, and CV were approved in March 2020. All ML, NLP, and CV programs are scheduled to have their programs extended before their expiration date of June 15, 2025. All computer science and robotics programs received CAA accreditation in May 2023, and their accreditation will be renewed before it expires on June 15, 2026.
